Appearance: Zen is tall and has a slim, muscular build. His skin is dark and flawless,and he is always seen with a smile on his slim face. Like many members of his clan, his hair is white. It shoots up in messy spikes with some to come down and frame his face. Like the many suiton techniques he uses, his eyes are as blue as the sea, giving him an innocent look. He loves wearing the color white to compliment his hair. To him, it just looks more clean. Because of his appearance, he is often looked at as a pretty boy, but in reality, he could care less about how he looks, especially in battle. He wears traditional warrior gi, with ninja sandals on his feet. Many people see the chain he wears around his neck, and that is the only visible part of the concealed blade he always has on him.

Personality Zen is not loyal to his village, but is very loyal to his kage. He has a very nonchalant attitude, able to do whatever needs to be done to ensure his own safety and the saftey of those he care for. In battle, he is ruthless, overwhelming his opponent with his combinations of water style jutsu and swordsmanship. He is never angry, so it is easy for him to keep a cool head in any situation. Even when fighting, he keeps a mocking grin on his face which usually sends his opponent over the edge.
Despite his rule following exterior, he does have a dark side. Whenever he does something, he almost always has a hidden motive. He has a certain love for killing, but he never kills those that fight alongside him.

~Birth and early life~Zen was born with goals already set for him. Due to his family's pride and skill, he was destined to become one of the greatest shinobi in the village before he even left his mothers womb. As soon as he could walk he began his training in the ways of the ninja. His father, who was a master swordsman, sis not hesitate to teach him kenjustu, hoping that one day he would hold the rank of one of the seven swordsmen.So even from the beginning, life was hard. Zen trained constantly from day to day, no mercy was shown on him. Some days he did not even think that he could make it through the harsh training but due to his mother intervening every once in a while he made it. He had no siblings and was always too busy to have friends, so the only things he knew were his fathers will and his mothers compassion. By the time he was six years old he was able to hold his own against a genin level ninja with his blade. By the time he was eight he had learned to keep up with his father, though he had no hopes of surpassing him yet.
~Academy~Because of all his training, the academy was nothing. He had the skill required to pass before he even started, but his father told him that he was to stay with those his age and learn like a proper ninja. So each day he went to school, and he took the classes despite being able to teach them. During this time, he began to hang around the many different students that were his age. But even though they shared many things, the fact that he was better than them separated him from the others. Like his father had told him many times, they were beneath him. He continued to attend class and recieved top marks. This went on for years. All he did was follow the same schedule. Got to school and stay awake through it, and go home to some bone crushing training. This was, until one dreadful day. He got called out of class early to find out that his mother had been killed while on the mission. At first he didn't believe it because he knew his mother was an exceptional shinobi. Though she was never allowed to learn the hydration technique, her ninjutsu skills were admirable. She was a master water user, and there was no way anyone could take her out. But as much as he didn't believe it, it was true. After her death, Zen got into an argument with his father. While the man wanted him to continue with his kenjutsu training, Zen preferred to take a break from that and learn water techniques in honor of his mother. Of course, his father disagreed. So he had to practice behind his back for the next few years.
~Genin~At the beginning part of his ninja career, all was dull except for the fact that he was training in secrecy. He told his father that he had to train with his team often so that he could train in water techniques. It didn't take much to learn them, he seemed to be a natural. Lower ranked jutsu were nothing. He produced them on his first try, and higher ranked jutsu weren't that harder. But the time he had his first C-Ranked mission, he was at a jounin level when it came to suiton jutsu. He continued this until he was caught by his father. The resulting argument turned into a fight, and despite his hard training in suiton along with his skill in kenjutsu, he proved to be too weak to defeat his father. After his defeat, his father told him that he was not worthy of the Hozuki, and he was disowned by his family.
~Chuunin~Zen continued his training until the time of the chuunin selection exams. Like he had suspected, his skills allowed him to pass with flying colors. Soon after graduating to the next level, he was adopted by an old shinobi by the name of Ryin. The old man took him in and taught him how to control the beast inside of him. He showed Zen how to use water more to his advantage. While training his full control over water currents, he created a new style of fighting. Using both his water techniques and sword fighting at the same time, he created ninkenjutsu. He now serves his village while continually growing stronger.

- Much rambling was heard throughout a busy Konoha as three young genin struggled with what seemed like a ton of lumber. "We've done this
same lame mission everyday for weeks," Konohamaru complained. "Well..we…won't have much..more to do until after the village…is rebuilt," Moegi struggled out. Konohamaru sighed as he dropped the lumber, causing Udon and Moegi to almost topple over. "We don't know how long that'll take!" he cried. A silent Udon looked around. The village had come a long way since pain's attack four months ago."Based on the status of the building's current structure and the amount of labor being provided to fix it, Konoha should be completely rebuilt in two weeks tops," he said certainly. Konohamaru took his teammates calculation into consideration. Udon was always right about these things."Good morning, honorable grandson," someone called from behind them. "The names Konohamaru!" the angry genin called back. "My apologies,honorable Konohamaru!" the villager said. The young Sarutobi gritted his teeth. It was years after his grandfather's death and he still had to deal with being called that.He was snapped out of his thoughts by Udon and Moegi's grunts as they finally dropped the wood. "How far do we have to carry this stuff anyway?" he asked them. "Without all the equations," he added, stopping Udon as he opened his mouth to answer. "The academy, across the village," Moegi answered. "And we have two more trips after this one."Konohamaru stepped back and put his hands in a familiar crossed shaped hand seal. "We need to speed this up," he smirked. Moegi sighed in relief as six clones appeared."You two help Moegi and you four follow me and Udon," Konohamaru ordered. The clones obeyed immediately.Forty five minutes later a three hour job was completed as they set all of the lumber in place. Iruka walked up to them after giving orders to a few people working on the building. "Thanks for your help guys," he told the genin."And Konohamaru, your clones were a lot of help," he told his old student as Konohamaru dispersed his doppelgangers. He smiled at the scarred man. "It's nothing compared to what brother-Naruto can do," he told him. "My limit is only fifteen clones.
Iruka gave a supporting smile. "You must have a pretty large reserve for your age, that's more than many shinobi can produce." Before Konohamaru could answer, he was knocked over by a small boy. "Hey Izisu," he said in an annoyed tone. The boy hopped up and did his best impression of a cool guy pose. He was short with brown hair and dull brown eyes. He wore an oversized red shirt with black, knee-high shorts and
a long scarf around his neck that nearly touched the ground.Konohamaru-teme, how can you be my rival if you can't keep your guard up?" the boy yelled. The trio of genin sighed as Iruka laughed and took his chance to leave. Izisu, I told you that I already have a rival," Konohamaru said. "I think you're just scared! Izisu taunted. "Oh yeah?" Konohamaru yelled as he lunged for the boy, only to be stopped by a cloud of smoke appearing between them. Ebizu appeared from the smoke, giving Konohamaru a suspicious look."Is your work done here?" he asked his team. They quickly jumped into a rehearsed formation with Konohamaru in the middle with his arms folded,Udon on the left pushing up his glassed in a cool manner and Moegi on his right winking with her thumb up. "Konohamaru Ninja Squad, Mission Complete!" Konohamaru saluted. Ebizu sweat dropped. "Konohamaru, I told you that I am in charge of this team, therefore it is team Ebizu. Konohamaru scoffed, which made Udon and Moegi smirk. "From what I remember, you don't help us with any missions," he told him. Ebizu turned around as if he didn't hear the boy."Meet me in the hokage's office in five minutes," he said before disappearing. "What a square!" Izisu said. Konohamaru smirked, liking the boy a little better.Four minutes and thirty seconds later, they were all standing in front of the hokage's desk, awaiting their new mission while Tsunade searched through a bunch of documents. A couple of silent moments later, she looked up at the group. "I see you guys have done a lot of these in-village,minimum pay missions, and the village is grateful for your help.
Everyone nodded before she continued. "A few new missions have come in, and I think I have the perfect one to reward your hard work," she told them. Konohamaru beamed as he heard her say this. She pulled out a scroll and handed it to Ebizu. "Team Ebizu," she said. This is your first C-rank mission.
